01 What minimum operating systems are required to run the NetSafety Family App?

The NetSafety Family App is compatible across Windows, macOS, Android and iOS devices.

  • Microsoft Windows 7 or higher; Processor: Pentium 4 or better; Memory/RAM: Minimum (2GB), Recommended (4GB and above); Hard Disk Space: 500MB and above.
  • macOS 10.12 or higher; 1.0GHz or better; Memory 2GB and above; Hard Disk Space < 10MB
  • Android 5.0 or higher; Screen resolution 480 x 800 or higher
  • iOS 11 or higher; 64-bit device

02 What is the GeoSafety App?

The GeoSafety App is a location sharing App that allows you to have peace of mind about the safety of family, friends and even work colleagues.

Offering free and premium functionality, the GeoSafety App enables users to keep track of the whereabouts of family, friends and more, all in real-time.

03 Who is this App ideal for?

Easy to deploy and set-up, the GeoSafety App is ideal for:

  • Families
  • Friend groups
  • Sports teams
  • Recreational groups and clubs
  • Work teams
  • And remote workers

04 What location data can be accessed with the GeoSafety App?

The GeoSafety App allows real-time and most recent location data to be viewed by users. Location data can be accessed via ‘Places’ on the App.

05 How do I stop sharing my location?

With the GeoSafety App you can hide your real-time location from all Group members by via ‘Hide My location’ on the App.

06 How can I manage notifications?

The GeoSafety App allows users to turn on a Do Not Disturb function. This function disables all notifications from a Group, except messages and important updates. Notification preferences can be managed via ‘Hide My Location’.

07 How can I invite a new member to my group?

To invite someone to join your Group:

  • Click invite Members.
  • Select anyone from your contact list that you want to invite, even if they are not registered yet.
  • Contacts will be notified of the invitation and given instructions on how to install the App / join your Group.

 Note: As an Admin you can create private, invite-only ‘Groups’ and can also create multiple ‘Groups’ to aggregate users in different ‘Groups’ (family, friends etc).

08 How do I join a group?

When you have been invited to join a Group, you will receive an invite notification. Once received you’ll be able to view the invite and accept or decline it.  If you accept the request, you will be added to the Group.

09 Can I be in in more than one group?

With the GeoSafety App you can easily join multiple, private groups.  This can be done in two ways.

You can either join a Group created by someone else or create your own Group and invite people to join it. 

10 How do I use the App on a new phone?

Firstly, make sure you remove the App on your old device before using it on a new device. When your new device is on and operating, simply download the GeoSafety App on your new device and you will be ready to go! 

We store your information so that nothing is lost when you switch to a new phone.

11 How do I contact customer support?

Wontok provides 24/7 on-line support services. From technical assistance and resolutions to product queries and updates, our advice is tailored to the needs of each customer.

Customer support can be contacted at any time directly from the GeoSafety App.

12 Why don’t I have a password for the GeoSafety App?

The GeoSafety App is registered on your smartphone using your phone number and a one-time verification code, which allows you to access the App without the need to enter a password.

13 Can I download the GeoSafety App if I live outside of Australia?

As of right now, the GeoSafety App is not currently available outside of Australia.

14 How do I cancel my GeoSafety App subscription?

You must cancel your subscription to not be billed – we cannot cancel the subscription for you. Please note that uninstalling the App will NOT cancel your subscription.

For iPhone (Apple in-app purchase subscribers): 

  • Open the App Store app
  • Tap on your profile account icon.
  • Tap on ‘Subscriptions’ 
  • Tap on GeoSafety App and ‘Cancel Subscription’

Please note:  We do not have or store your credit card information when purchased through the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store, hence we are unable to provide refunds.

15 How will this purchase show up on my bank or credit card statement?

Your monthly subscription for the GeoSafety App will show up as a payment to Wontok Limited.

16 How do I view my billing information?

To view your billing information, open the App on your smart phone and navigate to the My Account icon where you can view billing information and update.

20 Do you share my information with 3rd parties?

We do not share customer information with any 3rd parties.
