WebAdvisor™ for Commercial Banking is a free diagnostic tool for your customers PCs that allows them to simply and easily check their antivirus software, firewall protection, and web security status on your computer. This tool runs as a complement to any existing security software and does not negatively impact the performance of their computer. They can quickly download WebAdvisor™, it will immediately begin working, and they will see their Web Security Score in their browser’s toolbar area, as seen here:

WebAdvisor™ will provide them with a Web Safety Security Score from 0, which is poor to 1000, which is excellent. Their Web Safety Security Score is comprised of several factors including whether they have WebProtection™ installed, up-to-date antivirus software, a firewall, current Windows updates, whether they are using an encrypted connection and whether the site they are surfing is one which sensitive information is likely to be shared (bank, insurance, mortgage, etc.). WebAdvisor™ will score their web safety and then provide them with recommendations to improve their Web Safety Security Score.

It is important for your users to periodically check their Web Safety Security Score because their security software may be switched off or become out of date without them realizing it, or it could be that they do not have security software installed on their PC. By running WebAdvisor™, users (and commercial banks) can now have insight as to the status of their PC’s security.

When the scan is complete, they’ll see a report detailing the presence and status of their security protection. If problems are detected, WebAdvisor™ will provide a recommendation on the best security solution.
