WebAdvisor™ is a free diagnostic tool for your PC that allows you to simply and easily check your antivirus software, firewall protection, and web security status on your computer. This tool runs as a complement to any existing security software and does not negatively impact the performance of your computer. You can quickly download WebAdvisor™, it will immediately begin working, and you will see your Web Safety Score in your browser’s toolbar area, as seen here:

WebAdvisor™  will provide you with a Web Safety Security Score from 0, which is poor to 1000, which is excellent. Your Web Safety Security Score is comprised of several factors including whether you have WebProtection™ installed, up-to-date antivirus software, a firewall, current Windows updates, whether you are using an encrypted connection and whether the site you are surfing is one which sensitive information is likely to be shared (bank, insurance, mortgage, etc.). WebAdvisor™  will score your web safety and then provide you with recommendations to improve your Web Safety Security Score.

It is important to periodically check your Web Safety Security Score because your security software may be switched off or become out of date without you realizing it, or it could be that you do not have security software installed on your PC. By running WebAdvisor™, you can now have insight as to the status of your PC’s security.

By clicking on the score, you’ll see a report detailing the presence and status of your security protection. If problems are detected, WebAdvisor™ will provide a recommendation on the best security solution.
